The ‘Personally’ deejay, real name is Eton Gordon, was charged with assault occasioning bodily harm after a female filed a police report against him. According to the female, Kalado pulled up beside her in his car while she was walking on the side of the road and assaulted her.

Kalado pleaded not guilty when he appeared in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court in Half-Way-Tree last week. The complaintant told the court that she had no relations with Kalado and that he had also threatened her during a previous encounter.

The case was referred to go to mediation on June 13th but Kalado failed to appear. Justice Simone Wolfe-Reece reprimanded him saying, “I don’t think you understand. You are charged with a criminal offence that will take you to prison. We are not working on your schedule, we are not trying to fit in your life.”

Meanwhile, Kalado’s lawyer, Patrick Peterkin requested a second mediation, however it will only happen if the victim agrees.
