 I-Octane was removed from this year’s Reggae Sumfest lineup as Joe and Foota Hype continues their longtime beef over Ishawna.

According to sources, the ‘Hot Ras’ was on the shortlist for this year’s staging of the popular music festival however Joe Bogdanovich removed him following the recent signing of controversial Dancehall selector/producer Foota Hype to his Conquer the Globe label.

Speaking on the incident, I-Octane says he was shocked to see he wasn’t on the lineup after Bogdanovich gave him high praises following his stellar performance last year.

“Last year after mi mash up the place, Joe hug mi up and seh ‘My youth, yuh a di baddest thing inna music, mi can never leave yu off mi festival’,” I-Octane said.

The “Long Division” singer says the Downsound Records CEO told his team that Sumfest Organisers weren’t going to booking anyone from last year’s show for their 25th anniversary slated for July 16-22 in Montego Bay, St James, Jamaica at the Catherine Hall Entertainment Complex.

However a furious I-Octane a says the only new acts on Dancehall Night are Alkaline and Mavado which only fuels the rumors about Foota Hype being the reason for his snub.

“Betta yuh (Joe) just seh, ‘Dawg, yuh a link wid some people who wi nuh like’. Right now wi nuh know and wi nah rule out no option because I don’t know where this is coming from. Mi nah guh tell lie pon Sumfest,” he added.

Joe Bogdanovich and Foota Hype started feuding over Ishawna back in 2014 after the couple called it quits on their nine year relationship.

According to Foota the “Restraining Order” singer was sleeping with Bogdanovich and producer Skatta Burrell, he then left the label and Joe threatened a lawsuit over defamation of character.
