A Jamaican woman was sentenced to 21 months in prison earlier this week after attempting to smuggle .477kg of cocaine in her vagina through the Hollywood International Airport in Florida.
Norjah Witter was arrested on her birthday, January 26, after being selected by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for a random inspection. The woman reportedly confessed to the Border patrol officer, and later taken to hospital where the drugs was removed from her vaginal cavity.
Witter a resident of Clarendon, Jamaica told Border Protection officers that she was transporting the drugs because she was desperate for money.
