Jamaican model and TV host Gabrielle Davis has been added to the cast of the first season of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Miami.

Davis made the announcement recently on Instagram, “I’m so excited! Finally able to Announce I Have joined The @loveandhiphopvh1 Team. This Is What I have Been Working on Low Key” the former Pulse model wrote.

Love & Hip Hop: Miami is the fourth installment of the Love & Hip Hop reality television franchise. It will premiere in January 2018 on VH1 and will chronicle the lives of several people in the Miami area, involved with hip hop music.

Confirmed cast members includes; Trina, Trick Daddy, Gunplay, Shay Johnson, Amara La Negra, Veronica Vega, Jojo Zarur and Bobby Lytes.

 

 

Filming for the show ended a couple of weeks ago and it is scheduled to air in January 2018. According to Davis, she got the opportunity to join the cast through a close friend, who is a member of the R&B group Pretty Ricky.

Davis added that she hopes the gig will launch her acting career.

Several Jamaican entertainers have made cameo appearances on US reality TV. Entertainers such as Konshens and Spice have appeared on Love and Hip Hop, while Kris Kelly had a cameo on Real Housewives of Atlanta.
