Jamaica has been named the number one Caribbean destination by TripAdvisor in its Traveller’s Choice Awards 2016.
The popular travel website ranks Jamaica as the perfect Caribbean destination as it offers a well rounded experience, with the perfect blend of music, culture, nature, history and adventure.
According to Omar Robinson, President of the JHTA “Ranking number one in the Caribbean is the result of a commitment of our tourism players to deliver a high level of service with quality products. This achievement reflects the opinions of our customers and is the ultimate affirmation.”
“There is no doubt Jamaica continues to be a world-class destination, which is due to our accommodations, attractions and the employees are among the best in the world.”
The ranking comes on the heels of the Caribbean Island experiencing notable growth in visitor arrivals over the last four years, recording the highest arrivals in July of 211,000.
