Mixed reaction from Dancehall/Reggae fans after Jah Cure uploaded a video sending a stern warning to promoters and disc jocks trying to render his services.
The Grammy-nominated entertainer shared a video on his Instagram story over the weekend letting the music fraternity know that before they contact him for events or dubplates, they should ensure that their money is right.
“Be careful when you call my phone or email me,” Jah Cure said. “I’m not the brokest artiste in the business…. mek sure unu money good,” he continued.
The ‘Call On Me’ singer’s video got the attention of several social media users who called him out for being hype. “This was a hype statement…. simple cuz of how he said it…,” one wrote. “Humble yourself fashion rasta,” another added.
However others defended Jah Cure saying, “This is not being “Hype”, this is knowing your worth.” Another stated, “I’m sure you would not want anyone to pay you less than you deserve, i stand with the Cure on this one.”
