In a move to solidify his presence stateside and build upon his growing fan base, dancehall artiste Iamstylezmusic is pleased to confirm a performance on one of the biggest music festivals in the United States.
The Portmore based artiste is booked for the popular the EDM/dance music themed Ultra Music Festival.
The Ultra Music Festival is set to take place in Miami from March 24-26. Iamstylezmusic will perform each day of the festival.
“Ultra is major and definitely a major look for me again. Well a lot of people may not know that I have been working with Diplo’s newest group Bad Royale that is pretty huge in the EDM world. I am featured on the single Dutty Heart on their EP Immutable Timeline. I also have quite a few other records that will be released this year with some well-known EDM DJs so definitely look out for those”, he explained.
Iamstylezmusic is promoting his latest single It’s a Pitty. He recently collaborated with rhythm and blues singer and musician John Legend on the track Light Up the Night.
“We are currently working on the treatment for Light up the Night music video. I also have a single titled “Turn & Whine” on producer Jaycrazie’s” new juggle riddim “Head Trauma” which is now available worldwide and has been getting a big push at radio. I am not focusing on releasing too many songs right now because I’m finishing up my album”, he added.
On Saturday March 18 he performed on the last day of another major festival in the United States, the SXSW Music Festival.
“Well SXSW is one of the biggest music festivals in the United States so that in itself is a huge accomplishment just from being booked for the event. As for what I expect to gain, major exposure to a wider audience and of course represent my culture and country to the fullest of my ability. Not to mention gain some new fans and network with some of the other acts who are billed for the festival”, said Iamstylezmusic.
