Hurricane Maria made landfall on Dominica around 9:15 p.m. Monday night with estimated winds of 160 mph.
Reports coming out of Dominica is the main hospital in Roseau has already lost its entire roof and the rain damaged their generation. There’s also reports of widespread flooding and damages to other buildings including a radio station.
Maria is anticipated to approach the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico on Wednesday. The storm might make landfall on the eastern side of Puerto Rico and could bring major damage to the U.S. territory late Wednesday morning and into the afternoon.
