A Vere Technical High School 6th form student is now battling for life after being shot in the head during an attack which also claimed the life of her father in Clarendon on Saturday night.
According to reports, Suene Riley and her 51-year-old father Jimmy Riley were both at home in Nineteen Miles, Clarendon, when they were attacked by unknown assailants shortly after 7 p.m.
Cops theorise that Suene was shot in the head while standing behind a door which was penetrated by one on the bullets.
Both Suene and her father were rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The teen had to undergo emergency surgery to remove the bullet and remains in serious condition.
