A case management hearing is set for Thursday in the appeal filed by convicted Dancehall icon Vybz Kartel.
It is expected to be the final case management conference before July 9 when the self-proclaimed ‘World Boss’, real name Adidja Palmer, fellow entertainer, Shawn Storm, real name Shawn Campbell, as well as their co-convicts, Kahira Jones and Andre St John begin a legal challenge to their murder convictions before the Appeal Court.
The appeal is expected to run for about three weeks.

Reports are that all is already in place for the big day in court on July 9, as the legal groundwork has been done and positioning on the matter between the prosecution and the defence has been established between the two sides.
The four men were convicted for the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams in March 2014, and were each given life sentences, with the recommended time-frames before eligibility for parole running up to 35 years in the case of Kartel.
