Munga Honorable returned to the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court in the Corporate Area on Wednesday.
The Dancehall entertainer is charged for the February 12, 2017 murder of Mr. Vegas’ nephew, Cleveland Smith.
Mr Vegas Clapback At Munga Honourable Over His Nephew’s Murder Case
According to police reports, Smith left his Moonlight Drive address in St Andrew on his green Rambo pedal cycle to attend a session. It is alleged that he was accosted by a group of men, one of whom was armed with a gun. Smith was shot after an altercation ensued between the men and himself. He was then rushed to the Kingston Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
In the latest development, the “Bad From Mi Born” deejay’s attorney Christopher Townsend, “The matter was heard, but it was not about my client. It was about his co-accused, who was seeking a bail application. The next hearing is set for May 29.”
