A woman is now in critical condition after she was allegedly chopped all over her body by her common-law husband in Great River, Hanover on Tuesday.
According to reports, the incident spurred from a domestic dispute which became violent. The couple reportedly became engaged in a heated dispute in which the man allegedly used a machete to chop the woman several times all over her body.
The accused reportedly fled the premises after cops arrived.
The woman is reportedly in hospital in critical condition.
