A gunman was shot dead by a police officer after reportedly opening fire on a group of people in the East Street bus park in Old Harbour, St Catherine on Saturday evening.
The man was reportedly shot dead after shooting three men, one of which succumbed to his injuries, during a gun attack.
According to reports, the man entered the bus park at approximately 5:15 pm and opened fire upon a group of people.
The unidentified gunman was reportedly challenged by a nearby police officer and was subsequently shot and killed during the exchange.
One of the three men who was shot is said to be a bus conductor reportedly died in hospital while the other two victims are said to be in stable condition.
