Gully Bop

Gully Bop is back and better on the Dancehall scene.

The social media sensation-turned-recording artiste stopped by Onstage TV last week with manager, Karl Durrant, to refute rumours that he is on drugs and was living back in the Gully.

“I think Gully Bop is probably one of the most misunderstood artistes in the business,” Durrant told Winford Williams. “He is extremely talented, he is extremely kind and in my opinion i think many persons in the past have taken advantage of them and they made him look a particular way in the public.”

Karl Durrant added that Gully Bop is a nice person and very intelligent, “He is not on drugs, he is not broke, so we are basically dispelling all those rumours and Gully Bop is always recording.

Gully Bop said he absence from the spotlight was strategic as he is now rebranded and will be taking a more positive approach. The “Wuk Affa Mi” deejay said is currently working on a new Reggae EP titled “Rumours” which will be released later this year.

Closing out the interview, Gully Bop also made a promise to Dancehall and Reggae fans, “I promise to give the crowd good chune, no bad energy,” he said.
