Dominating the dancehall space with a cadre of hits including his latest ‘Champ’, a reminiscent ode chronicling his arduous journey to stardom, recording artiste Govana will have to halt said reflections amid final preparations for a five-city tour of the United Kingdom at the end of this month.

The tour, commencing on October 3rd through to the14th will see him sojourning on the British mainland for two weeks with concert stops in Manchester, Gloucester, London, Luton and Wolverhampton. The trip also denotes his inaugural visit to Great Britain and another career milestone for the 4th Genna deejay.

Speaking via telephone with members of the British Press, a seemingly jocund Govana insinuated that he will be bringing nothing but his A-Game come next month.

“This being my first time in the U.K I can’t bring anything less than my A-Game, the fans can expect high energy performances and lots of crowd interaction. I understand from the promoters that the fans are looking forward to seeing me and I am certainly looking forward to seeing them as well. You know anywhere the Genna step is just niceness so we going to have a nice time and a great vibe.”

Locally, Govana has released two new singles titled ‘Inna Di Sky’ and ‘All Of It’courtesy of Armzhouse Records and Emudio Records respectively amidst work on his upcoming EP.
