Producer Tevin “Tevino” Richards & Ridwaan Razak of YGF Records have been steadily working on building a name for their brand in the music business by consistently supplying the demand for top quality productions. Both have been receiving a lot of praises for their latest promotional efforts, the Gifted EP and the Growth EP respectively and says the plan is capitalising on the momentum that they have been receiving thus far.
Currently we are pushing the tracks “Weh Dem Know Bout” by Vershon & Govana, “Gifted” by Deep Jahi and “The Way I Move” by Shenseea & Shatta Wale, from the from the ” Growth Rise Of Dancehall Pop Ep.
Although Tevino has been in the business for only four years now, Tevino has already garnered the attention from many, due to his fresh and groundbreaking approach and of course his high quality of productions.
He expressed, “In some regard, I am like a football manager simply because I always have a game plan before I make any moves. I am very meticulous, a little of a perfectionist but I have always been creative and determined with my work.”
The Calabar High School graduate boasts a catalog of productions which include, Chronicles of Success, Suit & Tie Riddim, and the Psychotic Riddim. He has done work with a myriad of talents like Shatta Wale, Shenseea, Capleton, Charly Black, Vershon, Devin Di Dakta, Zamunda and Deep Jahi, Jahvillani just to name a few; he is also affiliated with the international artistes Negus Nesta and Gordon Andres.
They are more focused these days on creating an audience worthy musical experience for music lovers and is seeing his projects through to completion. In addition to production, Tevino currently manages recording artistes Deep Jahi and Jahvillani who he has been working closely with for some time now.
With their artistic ability to construct ingenious riddims and fresh, new trend in music, both have unrelenting dreams of making it into the big league, Tevino has dedicated their partnership to cementing thier brand in the business.
