Foota Hype has launched a GoFundMe account for social media users to assist in replacing his mobile device.
The outspoken Dancehall selector revealed over the weekend that his phone was damaged and is preventing him from during his normal Instagram live sessions.
Foota, whose given name is Oniel Thomas, launched the GoFundMe page with a target of US$1000.
“All my followers who love my [Instagram] live weh want mi get the new phone the GoFundMe up and running mek mi si if mi have real followers now,” he wrote.
Foota Hype received US$120 from three donations in the first hour. He also stated in a video that he will be giving fans an address which they can ship phones to if they wish.
