Over the last few months, Foota Hype has been blasting Dancehall entertainers including Shenseea and Konshens over the conduct.
Earlier this year, the outspoken selector called out Konshens over violating the Dancehall rules after two women were spotted dancing together in his “Sexin” music video.
Foota Hype also quick to share his disapproval last week after Shenseea uploaded a video with another woman in bed.
On Sunday, Foota Hype made it clear that he will back down from fighting to uphold the principles in Dancehall music, no matter the backlash i’ll receive or friends and money he will lose.
“I don’t think people realize how much I love my country and my culture 876 Jamaica,” Foota Hype said. “My heart and soul and dancehall is my life, it puts food on my table and made me an international superstar.”
“I will not sit back quietly and allow these artiste destroy what gr8 ones before us fight and build. I will uphold the principles of my dancehall culture for the rest of my life no matter how much friends or associates or money I lose in this business,” he continued.
