Two Florida teens narrowly escaped being shot after a property owner mistook them for burglars while they were allegedly playing Pokemon Go.
The household owner reportedly responded to suspicious sounds coming from outside his home at approximately 1:30 am. The two teens had reportedly parked outside the man’s house and were overheard saying “Did you get anything?”.
The man reportedly went outside with his firearm commanding the apparent intruders not to move, they then drove towards him and several shots were fired.
Both teens escaped unharmed, but their car had several bullet holes and a flat tire.
According to police reports the frightened teens say that they were sitting in the car hunting two rare Pokémon, Marowak and Tauros.
