Dwyane Wade’s family are now mourning the tragic loss of a cousin who was shot and killed while pushing a baby stroller in Chicago on Friday.
32-year-old Nykea Aldridge was reportedly caught in the crossfire between two men who were shooting at each other. Aldridge was reportedly shot in the arm and head while pushing her baby’s stroller. She later died in hospital.
The child who was with Aldridge at the time of the shooting was unhurt, and reportedly taken from the scene by a family member. Aldridge leaves behind four children.
Wade took to twitter to express his sadness for his cousin’s death and call for an end to violence in the Windy City.
