D’TallBoss and Shandol Teams Up For ‘Unforgettable’ Collaboration

Damion Darby also known as “D Tall Boss”  the middle child of five (5) three (3) sisters and two (2) brothers was born to mother Veronica Hutchinson Darby and father Desmond Darby on  May 25 1983, he grew up and `lived in Shooters Hill, 7 Miles Bull Bay where he attended the St. Benedicts Primary School then To Donald Quarrie High School.

In Primary School Tall Boss, would immitate Bounty Killa until upcoming a friend taught him to write songs, verses, eight bars etc. Tall Boss practice his craft by doing covers of popular artists while in high school, going against professionals, ” Bibi Gardner see mi a dj a Asylum and give mi a thumbs up ..” from a likkle yute D Tall Boss been clashing against other artists and coming out on top.

Tall Boss formerly known has Leego Tech single “Best a we” landed him on Tvj Smile Jamaica in 2010  and Sting the same year. In 2013 “Party Time” ft. Elmo ride the waves and he was back on the scene  on CVM at Sunrise. After that he made underground hits such as “Pepper Step” for a dance group called “Cramp Dem” following “Where is the love” a deep melodic song, waking the youths up. “Nah Give up” was also another underground hit, were he told the fans no matter how hard it got he wasn’t giving up. In 2018 he changed his name to “D Tall Boss” where he said the fans love the name more cause they could see why he was the tall boss., with the change name, d tallboss first single is a hit called greater now doin great in dancehall and now release another
