Dovey Magnum issued a public apology to fans on Saturday for not attending Reggae Sumfest Night 1, formerly known as Dancehall Night.

The “Bawl Out” singer was a no-show on Friday despite being booked for the gig. While Magnum failed to disclose the reason for not taking the stage, took to Instagram to apologise to her fans and the Reggae Sumfest team.

“To my fans, my supports and the whole Reggae Sumfest team, please accept my sincere regrets for being unable to attend Reggae Sumfest 2019,” she wrote. “Due to extreme circumstances beyond my control, I was not able to attend Reggae Sumfest.”

“As I sit and ponder on the situation at hand, words can not describe the hurt and disappointment I feel. This has been one of , if not, the most anticipated show I have ever been part of and for that gratitude is embedded within my heart. Reasons are not open for discussion but again I am beyond sorry for missing Reggae Sumfest. Please keep me in your prayers as I continue my journey as an entertainer. All other shows will be as scheduled. My eyes are filled with tears as I convey such a major disappointment to all my fans and supporters. Sincerely From my heart ♥️,” she continued.
