Vybz Kartel continues to remain a relevant topic on the international scene.
The incarcerated Dancehall superstar’s international relevance was once again emphasized earlier this week, as he was mentioned during Complex’s hit morning show ‘Everyday Struggles’.
Show hosts Joe Budden and Dj Akademiks mentioned the controversial Jamaican artist during a discussion, with the latter labeling him as the one person in the world he would love to interview.
The popular internet blogger name dropped the “Highest Level” deejay while responding to a fan’s Tweet asking….”if You were to sit down and individually interview one person in the world, who would it be and Why?”
Akademiks co-host Joe budden would go on to humourously claim that Vybz Kartel is the “only Jamaican artist everybody knows,” highlighting the deejay’s obvious significance to the Dancehall culture from a international viewpoint.
