Fast-rising Dancehall /Reggae recording artistes Devin Di Dakta and J.L will be heading to Los Angeles on February 12 to attend the 59th Grammy Awards Ceremony inside the Staples Centre following his reggae Grammy nomination for the duo’s work on ‘Sly and Robbie Presents; Reggae for Her.’
Devin Di Dakta and his team are reportedly high spirited, as they are strong contenders to make the walk to the stage as a Grammy winner should they be announced as the winners.
During a candid interview with popular Jamaican media house, Dunbar said they like to work with upcoming artistes to help prepare them for the industry.
He later added, “Devin and JL are two humble and talented artistes, and it was easy to work with them. Their work is now nominated on the biggest stage that any artiste can hope to be recognised for his/her music so they both have a strong foundation from which they can continue to grow,”
