Dancehall/Reggae fans are speculating that D’Angel could be the next entertainer to get baptised.
The self-proclaimed “First Lady of Dancehall” sparked the rumours over the weekend after she appeared with a bible on stage at her ex-lover, Beenie Man’s Summer Sizzle show at the Jamalco Sports Club in Halse Hall, Clarendon on Saturday.
D’Angel who was also wearing a gown said she felt the need to bless the stage.
“With My Bible In My Hand I Could Never Go Wrong? The First Lady Of Dancehall Made Her Entrance,” the “So Blessed” singer captioned a video.
“So Much Greatness In Me Thank You God For The Talent You Give Me To Inspire And Teach Through My Music… I Went Out With A Game Plan To Execute From Start To Finish And I Did Just That???? In the past few weeks several Jamaican personalities including Alaine and Yendi Phillips got baptised. Wanye Marshall and Bounty Killer are also promoting a brand new gospel single.
