D’Angel has cleared the air on her comments involving Dancehall superstar Koffee.

The “No Worries” singjay found herself engulfed in wave of criticism over the weekend following comments she made about Koffee during a angry rant on social media.

In the now-viral video clip, the deejay managed to upset quite a few fans after she complained of not being shown similar appreciation to the “Toast” star despite also producing ‘good clean’ music for the past 10 years.

However, according to the veteran female artiste her comments were taken out of context and misunderstood.

She claims her comments stemmed from the fact that it was stated in the media that Koffee was the only female artiste releasing clean, uplifting music and she merely sought to point out that she had been doing this for years too.

The entertainer went on to say she was never comparing herself to the young star in any way, saying “I could never disrespect Koffee and Koffee’s talent. I was just making it clear that they were incorrect in what they were saying and they need to do their research.”

According to Dancehall’s “First Lady,” her comments were twisted by fans and bloggers who did not take the time to listen to what she was saying in her post.

D’Angel, however, claims she has no regrets about the incident, as many fans have since started to dig deeper into her musical catalog, seemingly trying to see if her claims are indeed true.
