Dancehall and Reggae artists are on the edge after three members of the entertainment fraternity have been killed in the last two months.

The devastating statics was revealed recently following the murder of Dancehall artist and producer Corey Mineral Boss who was shot and killed Tuesday morning at his home in Caymanas Bay, St Catherine.

Corey’s death comes just weeks after popular Entertainer Donovan McMurray, more popularly known by his stage name Unicorn was gunned down in Bowens Road, Kingston 13.

Another murder was recorded back in October when producer Ralston ‘Tru Blue’ Wellington was shot dead by gunmen in Maxfield Avenue, St Andrew.

Speaking on the recent murders, one Dancehall artist told The Tropixs that it seems like industry members are being targeted, “Jah know it doah look good, it seems like dem a target the artist and producer them,” he said. “Right now man affi guh protect themselves and beef up security and careful in the street.”

Earlier this year, popular producer Evan ‘Zum’ Powell who operates Good Good Productions, was injured multiple times in a gun attack while driving along the Salt Marsh main road in Trelawny.
