Dancehall insiders are already forecasting a dampened Christmas spirit among many Jamaicans following the sentencing of veteran entertainer Ninjaman.

According to insiders, news of the embattled deejay’s heavy prison sentence will serve as a significant blow to the spirits of many Dancehall fans who have over the years grown to appreciate kind acts and overall good spirit.

The say “Don Gorgan” deejay was one of few artist who genuinely used the festive season to help others and unselfishly devoted himself to cheering others up.

Many of his fellow entertainers have already declared that the veteran deejay will be sorely missed as his contributions to various individuals and communities were seen as a major source of inspiration.

Ninjaman has been positively noted over the years for starting or promoting various charities which assisted the less fortunate in and outside his community.

The 51-year-old embattled entertainer was sentenced to life in prison earlier this week for the 2009 murder of Ricardo Johnson. He will have to serve 25 years before being deemed eligible for parole.
