Damian ‘Jr. Gong’ Marley has invested in popular marijuana themed publication High Times Magazine.

The “Welcome To Jamrock” singer recently became a co-owner of the world famous High Times Magazine, after his investment group, Oreva Capital, recently acquired the magazine for a reported US$70 million.

Marley is one of 20 investors in the Los Angeles based investment group, which is headed by Maroon 5 front-man Adam Levine.

According to Forbes Magazine this is the first time High Times will change ownership in its 43 year history. The magazine is known for hosting popular marijuana themed events such as the “Cannabis Cup,” which was started in 1988.

The move is only the latest investment for the Jamaican Reggae superstar, who is also a member of a investment group which successfully bought and converted a California prison and transformed it into a cannabis grow space, which cultivates medical marijuana for state dispensaries.
