International Reggae Recording artist Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley is venturing into the fast-growing Marijuana business.
The “Welcome To Jamrock” singer along with business partner Ocean Grown Extracts, recently acquired a Prison in California to transform the facility it into a Marijuana farm. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Jr. Gong who is the youngest son of the late Reggae legend Bob Marley, copped the Claremont Custody Center in Coalinga for $4.1 million and will use the 77,000 sq ft land to grow medical Marijuana that he plans to distribute to state dispensaries. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

“Many people sacrificed so much for the herb over the years who got locked up,” Marley said during a recent interview with Billboard Magazine.
“If this helps people and it’s used for medicinal purposes and inspires people, it’s a success,” he added.
The purchase of the facility erased all the town’s debut and will now provide over 100 new jobs for residents.
