Jr. Gong who is the youngest son of the late Reggae legend Bob Marley, copped the Claremont Custody Center in Coalinga for $4.1 million and will use the 77,000 sq ft land to grow medical Marijuana that he plans to distribute to state dispensaries.
“Many people sacrificed so much for the herb over the years who got locked up,” Marley said during a recent interview with Billboard Magazine.

“If this helps people and it’s used for medicinal purposes and inspires people, it’s a success,” he added.

The purchase of the facility erased all the town’s debut and will now provide over 100 new jobs for residents.
