Contestants of Savage’s online dancing competition say he’s trying to opt out of paying the $800 USD cash prize.

The ‘Yes Mama’ singer launched the competition last month to promote his new single ‘Wine Mama’ on his Instagram account. Users were asked to submit videos no more than one minute and the winner would be selected after accumulating the most likes from June 3rd through to the 30th.

However Savage is now saying there’s a semi-finial round that the contestants will have to endure and they aren’t having it.

“The Contestants of the @savagesavo #whinemamachallenge need to tell him the contest is over and they won’t go any further cause is me @queen_promo #WIN ……,” one contestant wrote on her Instagram account. “The flyers didn’t say anything about SEMI FINALS…. IT SAYS MOST #LIKES WIN. This competition open from JUN 3 – 30 …. and is now you making mention about Semi Finals?????? @savagesavo I think it’s unfair to me……”

Savage reacts after being labelled a “corpse looking dancehall artiste” by US media

“LET ME JUST ADD THAT EVERYBODY WHO ENTERED GIVE UP FROM @dancingrebel entered and took the lead …. I was the only one tagging and begging ppl to like my video and promoting it all 4am in the mornings with little or no sleep…. even Rebel got comfortable to me and wasn’t pushing it….”

“MI TAG ALL WHO MI DEVEN KNOW… NOW LISTEN @savagesavo NO DISRESPECT NO EGO OR NO BAD ENERGY NON A THAT. JUST ME BEING REAL CAUSE I RATE YOU AND YOU KNOW IT…. BUT THIS IS BS. #RealTalk
I DESERVE MY WINNINGS. ?”
