The police are reporting the death of one of Clarendon’s most wanted men, Niko Walters, otherwise called ‘Freckles’ or ‘Speckles’, who cut shot and killed during a confrontation with lawmen on Monday.
According to police reports, Walters was shot and killed during a confrontation with lawmen in Effortville, May Pen.
Cops say Walters was spotted during an operation in the area and approached by lawmen. He reportedly pulled a firearm and fired several shots at the police, hitting one police officer on the left index finger.
The lawmen reportedly returned gunfire and Walters shot several times.
Walters was taken to the May Pen Hospital where he died undergoing treatment.
