Chronixx has responded to social media critics blasting Damian Marley over his recent Grammy win.

Jr Gong won the Best Reggae Album award at the 60th Grammy Awards on Sunday at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

He won for Stony Hill, his fourth solo effort. It got the nod over Wash House Ting by J Boog, Chronology by Chronixx, Avrakedabra by Morgan Heritage, and Lost in Paradise by Common Kings.

Unfortunately, following the announcement, the ‘Welcome To Jamrock’ singer was bashed by several Jamaicans who believed Chronixx was robbed on the award. Many cited that the annual show was biased and Gong only won because of his Marley name.

On Wednesday, Chronixx took to his Instagram account to silence the haters when he uploaded a video of a Damian Marley’s performance at the Woodstock Festival in Poland last year and wrote, “Watch what you say about the GONG! We couldn’t have a Chronixx without a Damian Marley.”
