Chris Martin is giving back to his roots as he recently tiled two classrooms from his childhood school.

Children from grades one and two at the Watermount Primary School will be greeted by freshly tiled classrooms this September as The “Big Deal” singer recently gave back to the institution which he spent his childhood years.

Then Reggae superstar, who attended the institution from 1993 to 1998, says it is only right that he continues to give back to the school as it holds a very special place in his heart.

“This was where it all started for me. It has a very special place in my heart. This is where the real moulding of Christopher Martin all started. This is where I learnt the basic things in life honesty and loyalty, not just book work, but all the fundamentals you need to go through life,” said the singer.

The school has since expressed its gratitude towards the entertainer’s gesture saying it could not have come at a more opportune time as the institution gets ready to launch a new curriculum,

According to the school officials, the timing was ideal as it lines up with there implementation of the National Standard Curriculum this semester, which will see students participating in learning activities which may require them to be on the floor at times.

The entertainer, who has been giving back to the school since 2015, says he has no plans to stop there as he recently committed to further tiling the other seven classrooms at the institution.
