Chris Brown has been released from jail on $250,000 bail after being arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
The singer’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, took to Twitter to announce the “Loyal” crooner’s release: “Thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes. Chris is out and well. The allegations against him are demonstrably false #TeamBreezy”
Chris Brown found himself at the center of a media frenzy on Tuesday after he became engaged in a 14-hour standoff with the LAPD. Cops surrounded the singer’s Tarzana home after reportedly receiving a 911 call from a woman claiming the singer threatened her with a gun.
Brown may however have a good chance of beating the charges, as according to TMZ his accuser, Baylee Curran, has a questionable track record.
According to TMZ, Curran is wanted in New York for questioning after allegedly stealing a designer purse back in 2013.
Curran alleged that Brown pulled a gun on her after she was “admiring” a piece of jewelry.
