Charly Black is keeping his feet grounded despite his massive international success.

The ‘Party Animal’ hitmaker has created history once again after becoming the third Jamaican artist to score 100-million plays on Spotify, a feat only achieved by iconic Reggae singer Bob Marley and international superstar Shaggy.

Charly has had a stellar year thus far, capping off the success of his mega hit single which was recently certified as a diamond selling track in the Latin American market.

The hit has opened multiple doors for the Jamaican deejay, who has been able to display his talents on some massive platforms including the Wendy Williams Show and the recently staged Hot 97’s Summer Jam, which saw the deejay perform for over 80,000 patrons.

However, despite his massive success the deejay says he is not concerning himself with his various achievements, instead he aims to remain humble and thankful for all the opportunities presented to him.

Many fans have already lauded the “country boy” as the new face of Dancehall internationally, however he says that is purely their opinion and he is not interested in proclaiming any titles.

According to the deejay his only focus is to put in more work, and ensuring he puts out more quality music, as he does not intend on settling on being a one hit wonder.
