Making his resurgence on the dancehall scene in recent weeks, recording artiste Chan Dizzy has been working assiduously in the studio on his upcoming EP. Though still untitled the five-track compilation will see the ‘Hello Badmind’ hitmaker addressing a myriad of social and topical issues while showcasing the dichotomy of his artistry.
“I haven’t decided on a name for the EP has yet, myself and my management team have been looking at several suggestions including ‘Fireworks’ but at this stage, nothing is concrete. However once a consensus is reached the public will be the first to know.” – Chan Dizzy explained.
Executively produced by Sajay Productions, the project is set for release in November. Dizzy also intimated that several additional singles will be released to the public amidst ongoing work on the EP.
Meanwhile, Chan Dizzy continues to promote the video for ‘Careful’ his latest single that has been making steady in-rows on the FM airwaves and social scene. Shot by director 300K, the visual alludes to him cautioning against friends who appear to be sincere yet quietly harbour ill-intent towards you.
Rising to prominence in 2010 while under the tutelage of Billboard producer Rvssian with ‘Hello Badmind’ and ‘Strange Face’ Chan Dizzy says he is pleased with the renewed interest from fans across the diaspora.
