Dancehall Queen Carlene shocked fans earlier this week when she did the introduction for Danielle D.I’s latest Ishawna diss track ‘Street Bicycle’.

“This is a public service announcement. This is the original Dancehall Queen Carlene,” she says in the song’s intro. “Cous, please tell that b**h don’t call my clean name in her filthy mouth,” She said.

Speaking on the single, Carlene said she had no choice but to add her vocals to the track after Ishawna used her name in her gritty single ‘Head Shot’.

In the diss track the former Downsound Recording artist made claims that the Dancehall Queen told her that D.I slept with her ex-love, ‘King of Dancehall’ Beenie Man, however Carlene said was not true so she had to set the record straight due to the unnecessary attention.

“I did not say anything to Ishawna about my cousin D.I,” she said. “I understand how lyrical feuds go but don’t say i told you something because i did not, that’s a big lie.”

Carlene says D.I did not sleep with Beenie Man and the ‘Equal Rights’ singer was just fabricating the story to gain attention.

The Dancehall veteran says this is the very first feud she ever got involved with but felt the need to clear her name and defend her cousin, “Do the history, I’ve never been in any mix-up with anybody, but that’s my blood cousin, and you stick with family,” she said.

Carlene added that the lyrical war between the two ladies is good for dancehall and she doesn’t think it will get physical as both parties understand its just entertainment.
