A car wash employee is now in police custody after he totaled a customer’s 2012 Toyota Crown Royal Saloon during a joyride in Westmoreland.
According to reports, the man believed to be in his early 20’s, decided to take the JMD$2.9 Million vehicle out for a reckless spin after the owner allegedly left it unattended.

In footage obtained from the motor car’s camera, the employee can be seen speeding along the Negril main road, hitting several cars including a police truck before crashing near the golf course.
He reportedly fled the scene however was taken into police custody a few hours later.
