According to the LATimes, the incident occurred around 5:00 a.m. after a driver, who later admitted to using drugs, hit the median and flew into the building. Officials say the motorist had been speeding down French st before crashing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The driver and his passenger were safely taken out of the building, while the car was still stuck in the building. Hours later, officials removed the car from the building. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

According to reports, police will hand over the information to the district attorney’s office with the driver’s toxicology results to determine possible charges.
