Busy Signal returns to the United States after fleeing the country in 2002

Dancehall artiste Busy Signal‘s United States visa has been reinstated after the “Nah Go A Jail Again” deejay fled the country in 2002 while awaiting sentencing for drug-related charges.

In 2012 Busy, real name Reanno Gordon was arrested at the Norman Manley International Airport in Jamaica on an extradition warrant from US authorities, he pleaded guilty to absconding bail and received a six-month prison sentence however he only spent two months as he waited four months for his trial.

On Thursday night Busy Signal teased fans on social media when he uploaded a photo saying “Expect The Unexpected.” The post was then followed by another on Friday morning which showed the artiste in a plane, “look out for the next post in 1 Hour,” he said. Busy finally made the announcement upon arrival in New York.
