Busy Signal has received an official citation from Connecticut Mayor, Luke Bronin, for his achievements in music, philanthropy and his human rights push.

The “Stay So” deejay was awarded the citation over the weekend by the mayor’s office at his Busy Signal & Friends Festival, which was held in Hartford, Connecticut.

The “Turf President” was presented the citation live on stage following a superb night of entertainment which saw performances from Charly Black, Marcia Griffiths, Christopher Martin, Ikaya, D-Major and Busy Signal himself.

“Wasn’t he amazing everyone? We need more of this positive energy” said a representative from the Mayor’s office while presenting the citation.
