Buju Banton is currently home spending some quality time with his family after spending almost 10-years in US federal prison on drug-related charges.

While the media and Dancehall/Reggae fans are eager for the “Untold Stories” singer to do his first interview and public appearance, veteran deejay Yellowman is giving him some much needed advice.

Yellowman who has mastered the art of keeping a low profile over the years, says its the best way to stay clear from negativity which is created by the media. He is now encouraging Banton to do the same.

Here’s How Buju Banton Survived Behind Bars

The “Morning Ride” deejay said when conducting interviews on entertainment programmes, Banton should not speak about anything beyond music.

Yellowman, whose given name is Winston Foster, shared that these programmes are more interested about Dancehall/Reggae acts personal lives to create controversy and drive traffic to their platforms, “They interview the artistes dem weh have problem inna dem life and have problem with dem career and that’s one of the things I want to share with Buju,” he said.

The entertainer added that Buju Banton should also be wary of the people around him and warned wagonists to give him some space to cool off and enjoy his long awaited freedom.
