Buju Banton is having a difficult time in Trinidad and Tobago.

The Reggae superstar took to social media on Saturday evening to reveal that members of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) came to search his hotel room after allegedly obtaining a search warrant.

“I’m chilling in my hotel room and the cops came to check me, a whole bunch of them saying they got a warrant to search my room and all kind of stuff,” Buju Banton said in a video uploaded to his IG account.

“I just want you to know that no matter what they can’t break us, we see whats going on and we just want you to know whats going on… We see what they are planning, how can you obtain a search warrant for a hotel room on a Saturday?” The Grammy-winning entertainer asked.

Buju Banton arrived in twin island republic on Friday via private jet at the old Piarco terminal. He is scheduled to perform live at the “I Am Legend” concert in Queen’s Park Savannah on Sunday.

As we previously reported, the “Wanna Be Loved” singer was unable to enter Trinidad and Tobago legally due to his criminal record. However he was given an exemption by Security Minister, Stuart Young.
