Bounty Killer has confirmed that a Vybz Kartel documentary is currently in the works.
The Dancehall veteran uploaded a photo on social media last week after conducting an interview for the highly anticipated project. “Very insightful interview just now Kartel documentary coming soon!” Killer wrote.
Despite being pressed by Gaza Nation fans for more information about the upcoming film, Bounty Killer remained tight-lipped.
Sources close to Vybz Kartel say the documentary has been in the works for some time now and the Dancehall icon’s recent Fox 5 New York featured helped to push the film’s producers to finish it sooner than later. Kartel’s pending appeal verdict will also influence when the film arrives.
While sources failed to mention if Vybz Kartel would appear in the documentary from behind bars, they added that he signed off on the film and is upbeat about it.
