Birdman wished his “son” Lil Wayne a happy 34th birthday today (Tuesday) despite the pair being locked in a bitter legal battle.
Despite their frosty relationship, Birdman did his best to show that he still had love for his “son” Weezy by wishing him a happy birthday on Instagram. The Cash Money boss captioned the photo ” HBD MY SON @liltunechi #BEFORE ANYTHANG #CMR uptownshit #BMJR #ymcmb4life #bloodlove”
The two have been locked in a bitter $51 million lawsuit for the past few months and Wayne has been seen bashing both his record label and former father figure Birdman on numerous outings.

The rapper reportedly became disgruntled over various issues including the hold back on the release of his “Carter V” album, the disappearance of $70 million of a $100 million Young Money cash advance from Universal, and also Birdman’s decision to release rapper Tyga from his Young Money contract without Wayne’s consent.
A court recently ruled that Birdman and Cash Money had 30 days to provide Weezy’s lawyers with financial records that were missing from documents submitted in his lawsuit against Cash Money.
