Beres Hammond has made a shocking admission about the producers he has worked with in the past.

According to the veteran Reggae superstar he has never received a royalty cheque from a producer in his four-decade-long career, despite creating some of the biggest hits of the genre.

Hammond made the shocking claim during a recent interview while promoting his new album “Never Ending,” which was released last weekend.

During the course of his career, which began in the late 1970’s, the Reggae crooner has worked with several big name producers including Willie Lindo, Joe Gibbs, and Donovan Germain.

The claims come as a major surprise considering the singer’s massive catalog of hits over the years for various producers.

The singer formed his own record label, Harmony Records in 1985, but signed for Penthouse Records in 1990 where he recorded the smash hit “Tempted to Touch” with producer Donovan Germain.

No comments have yet been made by any of the mentioned producers regarding Hammond’s claims.
