Krystal Tomlinson has hit back at the criticism she has faced since announcing her pregnancy with Dancehall superstar Beenie Man.

The media personality was subjected to some harsh criticism by some fans on social media, who went as far as labelling her unborn child “illegitimate” following the confirmation of her pregnancy.

Tomlinson gracefully hit back at the criticism saying that she would not allow malicious outsiders to “steal her joy” as the comments did not originate from a place of love but rather from persons who only wish to create chaos.

The former festival queen and president of the People’s National Party Youth Organisation (PNPYO) also took the opportunity to condemn the practice of children being labeled “bastard children.”

“I hope that children who read that post and are themselves the product of unmarried couples do not feel insignificant. You are not insignificant, it is an absolute lie, there is no truth in the lies being told,” Tomlinson said.

Tomlinson and Beenie Man broke the news of the pregnancy last week following an interview with The Flair Magazine.
