A bearer was robbed of JMD $6 Million in New Kingston on Tuesday.
The incident allegedly took place about 8:00 a.m while the bearer was walking towards a financial institution in the commercial district.
According to reports, a man on a bike rode up and slashed the bearer’s hand and took the bag with the cash.

A representative at the Constabulary Communication Unit (CCU) said, “It is a case of aggravated assault but the amount of money is alleged because it has not been confirmed yet, but that’s what the victim told the cops.”
